In July 2020 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Bamboo, Tree And Rock by Li Shan. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 525,000.00 (€ 57,520.81), 31% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Shan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rouge in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 11,210,000.00 (€ 1,154,102.15).

Im Juli 2020 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bamboo, Tree And Rock von Li Shan zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 525.000,00 (€ 57.520,81) und damit 31% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Shan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rouge im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 11.210.000,00 (€ 1.154.102,15).
