Chinese Paintings From the Yanqinzhai Collection 「硯琴齋」珍藏中國書畫 Lot 601-731 「杯裏紫茶香代酒，琴中綠水靜留賓」 ——硯琴齋主之書畫收藏 硯琴齋主，祖籍廣東汕頭，生於香港。早年從事貿易，經商之餘耽於傳統藝術。上世紀七十年代，師從本港名家范又新習書，八十年代初先後隨容思澤、吳景略、蔡德允諸師習操縵，並蒐訪歷代琴器，復考其沿革，珍藏唐宋元明以來古斲甚夥。數十年來，以琴會友，多次於港、臺和澳門各大學及博物館舉辦古琴展覽及講座，竭心盡力於古琴藝術之普及推廣。 絲桐之外，硯琴齋主亦雅好丹青�

Artwork auctioned at 17 times the upper estimate price
When the work Sutra in Clerical Script by Li Ruiqing was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in October 2021, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - HKD 2,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than 17 times as high at HKD 35,700.00 (€ 3,971.13). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Ruiqing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Jinwen in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 1,000,000.00 (€ 115,570.69).
Kunstwerk zum 17-fachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Als die Arbeit Sutra in Clerical Script von Li Ruiqing im Oktober 2021 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches. Der obere Schätzpreis war mit – rückwirkend betrachtet recht bescheidenen – HKD 2.000,00 angesetzt, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis hingegen war mit HKD 35.700,00 (€ 3.971,13) mehr als 17-mal so hoch. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Ruiqing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Jinwen im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.000.000,00 (€ 115.570,69).
