This artwork by Li Ruiqing achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in October this year. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Couplet In Running Script sold for HKD 42,000.00 (€ 5,079.11) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 22,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Ruiqing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Jinwen in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 1,000,000.00 (€ 115,570.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 91 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Li Ruiqing erzielte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei China Guardian einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Couplet In Running Script für HKD 42.000,00 (€ 5.079,11) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 22.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Ruiqing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Jinwen im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.000.000,00 (€ 115.570,69).
