Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Temples in the Snow by Li Rihua. It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,217.26) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Rihua achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscapes and Calligraphy in November 2021 with an auction result of HKD 3,500,000.00 (€ 389,164.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Temples in the Snow von Li Rihua zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.217,26) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Rihua erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscapes and Calligraphy im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.500.000,00 (€ 389.164,53).
