Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2015 Christies in New York held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work BAMBOO AND ORCHIDS by Li Rihua. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 2,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,793.04) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Rihua achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscapes and Calligraphy in November 2021 with an auction result of HKD 3,500,000.00 (€ 389,164.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit BAMBOO AND ORCHIDS von Li Rihua zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 2.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.793,04) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Rihua erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscapes and Calligraphy im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.500.000,00 (€ 389.164,53).
