Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Apparition De 1970, 2006 by Li Luming for EUR 8,674.00. This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Chinese Art at Artcurial in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 9,000.00 – 13,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Li Luming - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Harvesting Wheat, which sold at auction in September 2007 for USD 37,000.00 (€ 26,021.52).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Apparition De 1970, 2006 von Li Luming für EUR 8.674,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Chinese Art bei Artcurial in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 9.000,00 – 13.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Li Luming mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Harvesting Wheat beobachtet, die im September 2007 für USD 37.000,00 (€ 26.021,52) versteigert wurde.
