The work Mahler'S Symphony Series by Li Geng was sold in the Contemporary Ink Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,803.58), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Li Geng - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Spring In Jiangnan, which sold at auction in October 2017 for HKD 247,800.00 (€ 27,273.32).

Die Arbeit Mahler'S Symphony Series von Li Geng wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion Contemporary Ink Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.803,58) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Li Geng mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Spring In Jiangnan beobachtet, die im Oktober 2017 für HKD 247.800,00 (€ 27.273,32) versteigert wurde.
