The work Scene Before The Window by Li Chaoshi was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2017. It achieved a price of HKD 424,800.00 (€ 46,754.26), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 70%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Li Chaoshi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Stapelia Pulchella sold at auction in October 2017 with the realized price of HKD 613,600.00 (€ 67,533.93).

Die Arbeit Scene Before The Window von Li Chaoshi kam im Oktober 2017 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 424.800,00 (€ 46.754,26) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 70%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Li Chaoshi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Stapelia Pulchella im Oktober 2017 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 613.600,00 (€ 67.533,93).
