This work without title by Leyly Matine-Daftary was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Dubai in October 2015. The »bidding war« ended at USD 32,500.00 (€ 29,433.07), 63% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Leyly Matine-Daftary have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 100,800.00 (€ 119,420.78).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Leyly Matine-Daftary wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 29.433,07) und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Leyly Matine-Daftary auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 100.800,00 (€ 119.420,78).
