Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective, which included the work Iranian untitled by Leyly Matine-Daftary. The price achieved of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 28,856.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Leyly Matine-Daftary have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 100,800.00 (€ 119,420.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective durch, in der auch die Arbeit Iranian untitled von Leyly Matine-Daftary zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 28.856,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Leyly Matine-Daftary auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 100.800,00 (€ 119.420,78).
