Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Leyly Matine-Daftary was auctioned at Christies in Dubai in October 2015. The price achieved of USD 62,500.00 (€ 56,602.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leyly Matine-Daftary - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in October 2021 for GBP 100,800.00 (€ 119,420.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Leyly Matine-Daftary kam im Oktober 2015 bei Christies in Dubai zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 56.602,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Leyly Matine-Daftary mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Oktober 2021 für GBP 100.800,00 (€ 119.420,78) versteigert wurde.
