The work Orchids by Lev Tchistovsky was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in June 2015. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 11,250.00 (€ 15,862.36), 41% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Lev Tchistovsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Reclining Nude in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 70,850.00 (€ 82,710.12).

Die Arbeit Orchids von Lev Tchistovsky wurde im Juni 2015 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 15.862,36) und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lev Tchistovsky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Reclining Nude im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 70.850,00 (€ 82.710,12).
