Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Baigneuse by Lev Tchistovsky was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in November 2017. The price achieved of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 56,757.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Lev Tchistovsky have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2011 the work Reclining Nude was auctioned for GBP 70,850.00 (€ 82,710.12).
