This work without title by Lev Kropivnitsky was sold in the Russian Art auction at Christies in London in June 2011. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,425.26), 33% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Lev Kropivnitsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition, 1965 in May 2012 with an auction result of EUR 30,889.00.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Lev Kropivnitsky wurde im Juni 2011 in der Auktion Russian Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.425,26) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lev Kropivnitsky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composition, 1965 im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 30.889,00.
