Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cirque/ Circus by Lev Kropivnitsky was sold in the Rebel Spirits, Part IIINon-conformist art from important collections auction at Bonhams in Paris in January 2024. The price achieved of EUR 2,560.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lev Kropivnitsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition, 1965 in May 2012 with an auction result of EUR 30,889.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cirque/ Circus von Lev Kropivnitsky wurde im Januar 2024 in der Auktion Rebel Spirits, Part IIINon-conformist art from important collections bei Bonhams in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.560,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lev Kropivnitsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition, 1965 im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 30.889,00.
