The »bidding war« ended at GBP 446,500.00 (€ 537,302.99), 49% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Lev Feliksovich Lagorio have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Night On The Neva, St. Petersburg in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 1,476,000.00 (€ 2,190,309.76).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 446.500,00 (€ 537.302,99) und damit 49% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lev Feliksovich Lagorio auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Night On The Neva, St. Petersburg im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.476.000,00 (€ 2.190.309,76).
