In June 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Horseman In The Caucasus by Lev Feliksovich Lagorio. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 106,250.00 (€ 149,811.17), 52% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lev Feliksovich Lagorio achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Night On The Neva, St. Petersburg in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 1,476,000.00 (€ 2,190,309.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 52 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Horseman In The Caucasus von Lev Feliksovich Lagorio zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 106.250,00 (€ 149.811,17) und damit 52% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lev Feliksovich Lagorio erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Night On The Neva, St. Petersburg im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.476.000,00 (€ 2.190.309,76).
