Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Twilight - View of the Swing Bridge on the Neva by Lev Feliksovich Lagorio was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2000, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 5,875.00 (€ 9,358.82). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lev Feliksovich Lagorio achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Night On The Neva, St. Petersburg in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 1,476,000.00 (€ 2,190,309.76).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Twilight - View of the Swing Bridge on the Neva von Lev Feliksovich Lagorio im Dezember 2000 bei Christies in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 5.875,00 (€ 9.358,82) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lev Feliksovich Lagorio erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Night On The Neva, St. Petersburg im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.476.000,00 (€ 2.190.309,76).
