This artwork by Lev Feliksovich Lagorio achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in April 2006. In the Russian Paintings and Works of Art auction, the work Ships Moored At Low Tide sold for USD 284,800.00 (€ 225,602.03) - well above the upper estimate of USD 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lev Feliksovich Lagorio have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Night On The Neva, St. Petersburg in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 1,476,000.00 (€ 2,190,309.76).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Lev Feliksovich Lagorio erzielte im April 2006 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Paintings and Works of Art wurde die Arbeit Ships Moored At Low Tide für USD 284.800,00 (€ 225.602,03) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 120.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lev Feliksovich Lagorio auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Night On The Neva, St. Petersburg im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.476.000,00 (€ 2.190.309,76).
