Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2002 a collector was able to acquire the work Riverside by Lev Feliksovich Lagorio for USD 38,240.00 (€ 42,479.45). This price was achieved in the auction Important Silver, Objects of Vertu and Russian Works of Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lev Feliksovich Lagorio achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Night On The Neva, St. Petersburg in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 1,476,000.00 (€ 2,190,309.76).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2002 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Riverside von Lev Feliksovich Lagorio für USD 38.240,00 (€ 42.479,45) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Important Silver, Objects of Vertu and Russian Works of Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lev Feliksovich Lagorio erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Night On The Neva, St. Petersburg im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.476.000,00 (€ 2.190.309,76).
