This artwork by Lev Feliksovich Lagorio achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in November 2002. In the RUSSIAN PAINTINGS AND WORKS OF ART auction, the work Heavy Seas in the Black Sea sold for GBP 11,750.00 (€ 18,399.89) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lev Feliksovich Lagorio achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Night On The Neva, St. Petersburg in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 1,476,000.00 (€ 2,190,309.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 96 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lev Feliksovich Lagorio erzielte im November 2002 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion RUSSIAN PAINTINGS AND WORKS OF ART wurde die Arbeit Heavy Seas in the Black Sea für GBP 11.750,00 (€ 18.399,89) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lev Feliksovich Lagorio erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Night On The Neva, St. Petersburg im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.476.000,00 (€ 2.190.309,76).
