Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Men in Hats) by Lester F. Johnson was auctioned at Bonhams in May this year. The price achieved of USD 318.75 (€ 299.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 250.00 – 350.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lester F. Johnson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work City #3 in September 2014 with an auction result of USD 34,375.00 (€ 27,221.25).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Men in Hats) von Lester F. Johnson kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 318,75 (€ 299,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 250,00 – 350,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lester F. Johnson erzielen.
