Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction The Political Cartoon Collection of Jeffrey Archer, which included the work Concerto For Six Conductors by Leslie Gilbert Illingworth. The price achieved of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,138.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leslie Gilbert Illingworth - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'All-In' ('Remember Boys, No Scratching, Biting, Gouging Or Wilful Misrepresentation’), which sold at auction in March 2018 for GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,419.43).

Im März 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Political Cartoon Collection of Jeffrey Archer durch, in der auch die Arbeit Concerto For Six Conductors von Leslie Gilbert Illingworth zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.138,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden.
