Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2004 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, which included the work A Shepherd Returning Home by Leopold Rivers. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,613.25 (€ 1,449.39). Other works by Leopold Rivers have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 1,800.00 (€ 2,673.42) in July 2007 for the work The End Of The Day.
