Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Paintings, which included the work Landscape With Horse Grazing by Leonid Viktorovich Turzhansky. It changed hands for a price of GBP 46,850.00 (€ 59,219.97) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leonid Viktorovich Turzhansky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Russian Wedding, which sold at auction in November 2008 for GBP 181,250.00 (€ 219,144.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape With Horse Grazing von Leonid Viktorovich Turzhansky zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 46.850,00 (€ 59.219,97) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Leonid Viktorovich Turzhansky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Russian Wedding beobachtet, die im November 2008 für GBP 181.250,00 (€ 219.144,87) versteigert wurde.
