In September 2012 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art, which included the work A Spanish beauty by Leonardo Gasser. The result of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,509.65) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Leonardo Gasser have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Curiosity in April 2007 with an auction result of EUR 19,200.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im September 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Spanish beauty von Leonardo Gasser zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.509,65) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Leonardo Gasser auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Curiosity im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 19.200,00.
