Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 47,800.00 (€ 44,510.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leonardo Coccorante - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Architectural Capriccios: A Pair, which sold at auction in June 2014 for USD 125,000.00 (€ 91,307.52).
