The work Capriccio architettonico con figure; e Capriccio architettonico con figure presso una fontana by Leonardo Coccorante was sold in the Old Master Paintings auction at Christies in Milan in November 2007. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 61,940.00 55% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Leonardo Coccorante; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Architectural Capriccios: A Pair sold at auction in June 2014 with the realized price of USD 125,000.00 (€ 91,307.52).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 61.940,00 und damit 55% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Leonardo Coccorante; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Architectural Capriccios: A Pair im Juni 2014 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 91.307,52).
