The work A Capriccio of Classical Ruins By A Mediterranean Coastal Inlet by Leonardo Coccorante was sold in the Old Master Pictures auction at Christies in London in April 2006. The auction ended at the price of GBP 12,000.00 (€ 17,319.39), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Leonardo Coccorante have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Architectural Capriccios: A Pair in June 2014 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 91,307.52).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 12.000,00 (€ 17.319,39) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00.
