In December 2001 Christies in Rome held the auction ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO, which included the work Paesaggio by Leonardo Bistolfi. The »bidding war« ended at ITL 5,512,500.00 (€ 4,954.50), 38% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leonardo Bistolfi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fanciulle che offrono libri in November 2007 with an auction result of EUR 50,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 38 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2001 führte Christies in Rom die Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paesaggio von Leonardo Bistolfi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von ITL 5.512.500,00 (€ 4.954,50) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Leonardo Bistolfi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fanciulle che offrono libri im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 50.600,00.
