A top price for Leon Haffner - as previously expected
In January 2006 Christies in Paris held the auction Intérieurs, which included the work Trois Mâts en mer by Leon Haffner. The auction ended at the price of EUR 1,200.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Trois Mâts en mer is the most expensive artwork by Leon Haffner that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Januar 2006 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Intérieurs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Trois Mâts en mer von Leon Haffner zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 1.200,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Trois Mâts en mer das teuerste Kunstwerk von Leon Haffner, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
