Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2007 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Ducks in a pond by Léon Germain Pelouse. The price achieved of EUR 3,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Léon Germain Pelouse have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work French foret De Fontainebleau in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 21,558.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2007 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ducks in a pond von Léon Germain Pelouse zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Léon Germain Pelouse auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit French foret De Fontainebleau im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 21.558,22).
