Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Flowers In A Vase by Léon Dabo for USD 6,875.00 (€ 4,638.69). This price was achieved in the auction American Paintings at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Léon Dabo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Twilight On The Hudson (Harmony In Green And Blue) in July 2019 with an auction result of USD 43,750.00 (€ 39,308.18).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Flowers In A Vase von Léon Dabo für USD 6.875,00 (€ 4.638,69) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion American Paintings bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00.
