In September 2010 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture, which included the work Flowers In A Vase by Léon Dabo. The »bidding war« ended at USD 16,250.00 (€ 11,947.65), 35% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Léon Dabo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Twilight On The Hudson (Harmony In Green And Blue), which sold at auction in July 2019 for USD 43,750.00 (€ 39,308.18).

Im September 2010 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flowers In A Vase von Léon Dabo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 11.947,65) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Léon Dabo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Twilight On The Hudson (Harmony In Green And Blue) beobachtet, die im Juli 2019 für USD 43.750,00 (€ 39.308,18) versteigert wurde.
