A top price for Léon Carré - as previously expected

The price achieved of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 26,887.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, French une Elegante Aux Courses is the most expensive artwork by Léon Carré that we have observed at auctions so far.
