A top price for Leon Benigni - as previously expected
The work BRIDES LES BAINS by Leon Benigni was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,625.00 (€ 2,291.23) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, BRIDES LES BAINS is the most expensive artwork by Leon Benigni that we have observed at auctions so far.
