Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Léon Bellefleur was sold in the Important Canadian Art auction at Sothebys in Toronto in May 2012. The price achieved of CAD 8,400.00 (€ 6,564.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CAD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Léon Bellefleur - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Regards Vers La Chine, which sold at auction in November 2012 for CAD 20,400.00 (€ 15,788.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Léon Bellefleur wurde im Mai 2012 in der Auktion Important Canadian Art bei Sothebys in Toronto versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CAD 8.400,00 (€ 6.564,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CAD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Léon Bellefleur mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Regards Vers La Chine beobachtet, die im November 2012 für CAD 20.400,00 (€ 15.788,44) versteigert wurde.
