Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Leon Adriaans could be acquired at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2010 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction, the work De Boeren changed hands for EUR 1,750.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,800.00 – 2,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leon Adriaans - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dutch Nabeelden Van De Zon (Triptych), which sold at auction in July 2009 for EUR 5,625.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Leon Adriaans konnte im Juni 2010 bei Christies in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit De Boeren für EUR 1.750,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.800,00 – 2.200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Leon Adriaans mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dutch Nabeelden Van De Zon (Triptych) beobachtet, die im Juli 2009 für EUR 5.625,00 versteigert wurde.
