Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2000 Christies in London held the auction IMPRESSIONIST AND 19TH CENTURY ART, which included the work Incroyable en promenade by Leo Herrmann. The price achieved of GBP 1,762.50 (€ 2,807.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leo Herrmann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A pensive priest, which sold at auction in April 2001 for GBP 5,875.00 (€ 9,471.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2000 führte Christies in London die Auktion IMPRESSIONIST AND 19TH CENTURY ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Incroyable en promenade von Leo Herrmann zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.762,50 (€ 2.807,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Leo Herrmann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A pensive priest beobachtet, die im April 2001 für GBP 5.875,00 (€ 9.471,24) versteigert wurde.
