Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2009 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Paysage Aux Trois Arbres by Léo Gausson. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,800.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,275.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Léo Gausson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Triel-sur-Seine in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 55,373.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2009 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paysage Aux Trois Arbres von Léo Gausson zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.275,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Léo Gausson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Triel-sur-Seine im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 55.373,44).
