The work Man on a bench by Lennart Olausson was sold in the Spring Modern Auction, Stockholm auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2011. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 40,000.00 (€ 4,501.95), 60% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Lennart Olausson; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Gata i London sold at auction in May 2010 with the realized price of SEK 64,000.00 (€ 6,638.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 60 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Man on a bench von Lennart Olausson wurde im Mai 2011 in der Auktion Spring Modern Auction, Stockholm bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 40.000,00 (€ 4.501,95) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Lennart Olausson; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Gata i London im Mai 2010 mit dem Hammerpreis von SEK 64.000,00 (€ 6.638,53).
