Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work “Jonas”, 2013 by Lena Johansson was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in October this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of DKK 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 10,500.00 (€ 1,406.89). Other works by Lena Johansson have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in April this year by the work "Flicka framför vit gardin" (Girl in front of white curtain) at SEK 30,000.00 (€ 2,652.17).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit “Jonas”, 2013 von Lena Johansson im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von DKK 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 10.500,00 (€ 1.406,89) den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Lena Johansson wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im April diesen Jahres die Arbeit "Flicka framför vit gardin" (Girl in front of white curtain) mit SEK 30.000,00 (€ 2.652,17).
