In the Modern British Art auction, the work Still Life of Flowers in a Vase sold for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,032.32) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lena Alexander - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Summer Flowers In A White Jug; Red Coffee Pot With Flowers, which sold at auction in August 2007 for GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,740.88).
