A top price for Lee Seung-Taek - as previously expected
This work without title by Lee Seung-Taek was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2019. The price achieved of HKD 1,000,000.00 (€ 114,298.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 800,000.00 – 1,200,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Lee Seung-Taek that we have observed at auctions so far.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Lee Seung-Taek wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.000.000,00 (€ 114.298,52) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 800.000,00 – 1.200.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von Lee Seung-Taek, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
