Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Lee Kwang-Ho was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2013. The price achieved of HKD 81,250.00 (€ 8,057.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 65,000.00 – 95,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lee Kwang-Ho - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled 2351, which sold at auction in May 2015 for HKD 237,500.00 (€ 27,867.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Lee Kwang-Ho kam im Mai 2013 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 8.057,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 65.000,00 – 95.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Lee Kwang-Ho mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled 2351 beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für HKD 237.500,00 (€ 27.867,47) versteigert wurde.
