It achieved a price of HKD 391,500.00 (€ 32,230.82), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 31%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lee Jae Sam - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dalbit (Moonshine), which sold at auction in May 2010 for HKD 860,000.00 (€ 89,344.33).

Die Arbeit Beyond there - The Waterfall von Lee Jae Sam kam im Mai 2008 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 391.500,00 (€ 32.230,82) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 31%. Für andere Arbeiten von Lee Jae Sam mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dalbit (Moonshine) beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für HKD 860.000,00 (€ 89.344,33) versteigert wurde.
