Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2007 Christies in New York held the auction Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work Soft, Pasture by Lee Gatch. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,395.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Other works by Lee Gatch have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2008 the work Ionian was auctioned for USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,214.05).
