Auction result well in line with expectations
In May last year Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Art Online, which included the work Le soleil dans l’eau by Lebadang. The price achieved of HKD 50,400.00 (€ 5,983.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lebadang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Paysage Rouge, which sold at auction in December 2021 for HKD 189,000.00 (€ 21,408.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le soleil dans l’eau von Lebadang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.400,00 (€ 5.983,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Lebadang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Paysage Rouge beobachtet, die im Dezember 2021 für HKD 189.000,00 (€ 21.408,20) versteigert wurde.
