A top price for Lebadang
This artwork by Lebadang achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in December 2021. In the Modern Art Online: From Le Pho to Sanyu auction, the work Paysage Rouge sold for HKD 189,000.00 (€ 21,408.20) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 90,000.00. This high result makes Paysage Rouge the most expensive artwork by Lebadang that we have observed at auctions so far.
