Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition by Le Pho was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in December last year. It changed hands for a price of USD 94,875.00 (€ 88,684.80) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 70,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Le Pho achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figures in a garden in April last year with an auction result of HKD 17,920,000.00 (€ 2,166,658.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition von Le Pho kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 94.875,00 (€ 88.684,80) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 70.000,00 – 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Le Pho erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figures in a garden im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 17.920.000,00 (€ 2.166.658,44).
